What's the cost for your services?

It depends on the event or services that we are offering. Most of our events are between $10 to $100, it just depends on what we are hosting. Our Coaching Services is $25 per hour.

How long does each event last?

Our traditional Speed Dating events can last up to two and a half hours, this includes breaks. After the event many people tend to stay around to socialize further over a few drinks.

Where does the events take place?

We host events in Utah, Arizona, Texas, Colorado, and Georgia, California location is coming soon. Our coaching services are online or in person.

How many dates can I attend?

If you are a huge fan of Date Dash, you can come to as many events as you want.

How long is each Speed date last?

Each date will last four minutes. This is long enough for you to judge whether you like someone enough to want to see them again, but short enough to avoid embarrassing lapses in conversation. We allow plenty of time to move between tables and complete notes.

Will there be an equal number of males and females?

It is difficult to guarantee equal numbers of both sexes, but we do all we can to ensure an even balance. Infact, many of our events have a few extra people to ensure no one is sat twiddling their thumbs!

What is a Match?

A match happens when both you and somebody you have met indicate that you would like to meet again. A 'yes' match occurs when both parties have ticked 'yes' to each other, and a 'friendship' match occurs when both parties have ticked 'friend' or a combination of a 'yes' and a 'friend' match.

What Information is given to my matches?

Whatever they feel is safe at that time. The couple may give social media information or phone number; it's totally up to the pair. Date Dash does not give out any personal information.

How will I know if I have any matches?

At the speed dating event, you will sit and interview each individual and see if the vibe is there or not. It's simple, if you don't feel the chemistry, move to the next date. If you don't get a match that night, it's okay, come back to the next event.

What if I don't get any matches?

If you do not get a match that night, come back to the next speed dating and try again, it's really simple.

What if I'm shy? Can I bring a friend with me?

At Date Dash we encourage all participants to bring a friend with them to the events. Speed dating is all about breaking the ice. This helps build up your confidence in dating. The reason we have speed dating is to help shy people and single people build up self-esteem and confidence.

I'm outside of the age range for the event, could I still attend?

We strongly recommend that all age requirements be met at our events. Most of our guest have requested certain age groups, so coming to an event that requires a certain age range is very important. Please check our website for events in your age range. The age range that's set is what we require.

What type of people goes to speed dating?

Most of the people who attend these events are people who are seeking to extend their social circle beyond that of work or current friendship groups.

Is it safe to go to speed dating events?

Yes, absolutley. Our events are run by professional hosts who will make sure everyone is safe and enjoys the experience. We ask you to use the same safeguards and judgements about people you meet at an event as you would when meeting people under other circumstances.

What should I wear or how should I dress at a speed dating event?

There is no dress code as such, although you are obviously hoping to make a good impression on those you meet!

What are the most popular events?

Our DATE DASH Parties are easily our most popular events with hundreds of people attending each time.

What is the best venue?

All our venues are ideally suited for our singles events but overall, the best venue (in Dee Dee's opinion) we currently have is The Java Junkie in Downtown Provo. It is very popular and always attracts a great bunch of attractive, sociable & fun people. The venue offers table service with an excellent coffee drink list. There is also live music during the event. The venue is centrally located which means it is easy to get to from almost anywhere in Provo.

What are social events?

Socials are our brand-new range of singles events where people can meet up and enjoy a shared activity in a less informal way, such as a dog walk along the river or cycling on the river.

What is Virtual Speed Dating?

Virtual Speed Dating is just like the real thing only we run the events online through a video conferencing platform called Zoom. You simply login through your laptop or mobile phone and meet 10-15 people in short 3-4 minute dates. It was a great way to meet people during lockdown and proved so popular that we have decided to continue running the events once a month on a Sunday night.

What is the WHITE PARTY?

The White Party is a party where everyone dresses up in white and dance and has a great time.

What is a THEMED PARTY?

Our Themed parties are fun. We will come up with a theme from a movie of our choice or a year vibe, like 80's night or the Grinch movie for examples.

What is a PLAYDATE?

Play date is our activity based speed dating event where guests play a different board game on each date including cards against humanity, connect four & twister! These games act as a great ice breaker and for rubbish dates a polite distraction from conversation!

Can I pay at the door?

Since we make every effort to ensure an equal number of males and females, we are unable to take payment at the door as to do so might upset the balance.

Can I book tickets for my friends?

Yes, just complete the form with their details or alternatively ask them to book their own tickets.

What is Winter Wonderland?

The Winter Wonderland Dance is an annual event that we are trying to put together in several states.

What is Pajama Jammy Jam?

This event is a fun little event we are trying to put on in several different states. You wear pajamas and just vibe together.

I am unable to attend one of the events, can I cancel?

Unfortunately, we are not able to accept cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice before the event. We do not provide refunds, but we will do our best to move you to another event of your choice.
